Call for Funding

TinyOWS is an OpenSource project. So if you want that some majors enhancements are included in next releases, best way is to fund them.

Some ideas of new features, for next releases:

• WFS 2.0 / INSPIRE support
• Apache module support (should increase again performance)
• Oracle spatial (and/or SpatiaLite) support
• Multiple database support (one database per layer, and not per server)
• Ability to use an SQL join to define a TinyOWS layer.
• Application schema (to allow custom GML based output stream, like CityGML or GeoSciML for instance)
• QGIS config file parser (to allow a single config file for both QGIS and TinyOWS)
• Complete support of MapFile directives (see http://tinyows.org/trac/wiki/MapFileConfigFile for current limitations)
• SOS-T support (somehow similar to WFS-T but for sensors)
